Vortex Tour
Questions & Answers

Where do we meet for the Vortex tour?
I will pick you up from your hotel, resort, or airbnb if you're located in Sedona. Otherwise, we will
meet at Cultural Park Place at the Girdner trailhead. There is a picnic table with an awning right at
the trailhead where we will meet.
What kind of clothing should I wear?
Most people think of the sun and heat when they think of Arizona, however these tours take place in northern Arizona, which is much higher in elevation than the southern half of the state. Sedona sits at 4,500 ft elevation and the Grand Canyon sits at 7,000. Both can receive snow in the winter months on occasion. If you are planning your trip between December through March, pack for both warm and cool climates as temperatures can vary day to day and throughout the day.
Walking shoes or hiking sandals are fine. Flip‑flops are not recommended.
How long are we on tour?
About 3 hours.
What kind of vehicles do we travel in?
We will travel in an air‑conditioned van.
