This three hour private tour is the result of more than 30 years exploring and experiencing Sedona’s extraordinary land, culture, and energy. It offers you the chance to both feel and understand the history, facts, and theories behind Sedona’s famous vortex phenomena. The guiding idea is simple: the more you learn about the vortex, the more deeply you can connect with it — and with Sedona itself. Over the decades I’ve learned that people come to Sedona for many reasons: curiosity, healing, clarity, creativity, or simply to experience the beauty of the red rocks. One of the most common questions I hear is, “What exactly is a vortex?” A vortex is an area where the land’s geology, magnetic anomalies, and natural formations create a space where many people feel uplifted, balanced, or deeply calm. These sensations can be emotional, physical, or creative — and they’re different for everyone. The story is impressive. The potential geological influence is astounding to realize and is part of a unique geological anomaly that geologists come from all over the world to observe firsthand. Throughout the tour, I present information from multiple perspectives: factual, theoretical, spiritual, and personal. I share geological insights, indigenous viewpoints, scientific theories, and stories from my own experiences guiding here for more than 25 years.
