What do I need to bring?
Chairs, blankets, and hand warmers (on cold nights) are provided.
Please dress warmly and bring snacks or beverages if you wish.
Sedona’s temperature drops quickly after sunset, even in warmer months, so layers are always a good idea.
How long is the tour?
The tour starts at 7:30 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m.
This gives us enough time to explore multiple constellations, cultural star stories, and seasonal sky features without rushing the experience.
Are there restrooms?
No, but there are plenty of “facili‑trees” in the area.
I recommend using the restroom before you arrive.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry — for the safety of your pets and the comfort of our guests, please do not bring pets.
Is alcohol allowed?
For the comfort of all guests and children, please do not bring alcohol to the tour.
Do you offer food or beverages?
Sorry, we don’t have a concession stand.
You’re welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks.
What makes Sedona such a great place for stargazing?
Sedona is one of the best stargazing locations in Arizona because of its high elevation, dry desert air, and strict dark‑sky protection laws. These conditions create exceptionally clear views of the Milky Way, planets, and seasonal constellations. On most nights, the sky is dark enough to see thousands of stars with the naked eye.
What does a night sky tour include?
I use a high‑powered laser pointer, constellation models and hands‑on astronomy tools. We explore Babylonian, Greek, Roman, and Indigenous star stories, along with scientific explanations of galaxies, planetary motion, and seasonal sky changes.
This is an interactive experience — questions and participation are always welcome.
How do I book a night sky tour with storytelling?

Is this tour suitable for children?
Yes — kids often love this tour. The combination of stories, sky tools, and visual demonstrations keeps younger guests engaged, and the experience is designed to be familyfriendly.
Do I need any astronomy experience?
Not at all. Whether you’re brand new to stargazing or already familiar with the night sky, I tailor the tour to your comfort level and curiosity.
What happens if it’s cloudy?
If cloud cover prevents us from seeing the stars, I’ll contact you as early as possible to discuss rescheduling or other options. Clear skies are essential for the full experience.
